HORRIFIC, THEY GET AWAY WITH MURDER. It's been hell living in their buildling to put it mildly. I won my case against them and have a Court ORDER for them to pay me money, and they now refuse because they changed into Transglobe REIT . they have a long history of changing names to avoid judgments against them amongst other reasons and tactics they use. I cannot believe that Canada allows this. WE NEED A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT NATIONWIDE AGAINST TRANSGLOBE REIT.

I have had Matt often at customer service desk and I have never seen him mad.
That is the first I have ever heard of.
So sometimes, You cannot understand where his temper or impatience is coming from.
I am 60 years old, and I realize that sometimes, the customer service clerks are overworked !!! and that in today's world, we don t know why some people have bad days. We think they are superhuman and THEY ARE just like me and you. Tired at times and overworked and underpaid ( especially in stores). So, ok, things like this happens, but really, I am sure he probably realized afterwards that he overeacted and felt sorry about the way he acted. I hope he reads this, and realize that he would be a better man, if he apologize to that girl who was late. Even ifs its weeks later after this eruption of temper. Matt, get some help or your career will suffer later in years.!!

Funny thing, it is often the simple things we forget about, but those things are the ones that matter the most!

Initially when I started reading this blog I thought it lacked substance. I thought the service was good, but ........ Upon reflection though and considering the context, it's a real shame more businesses don't focus on the little things. Look at how impressed you were - you've blogged about it and no doubt you've told a few people too. Goes to show word of mouth marketing is priceless!

Enjoyed the post.

Comment on Porter Airlines Customer Service Fail by Luke

My personal experience has to deal with the food served in their lounges. I happen to frequent "To Go" foods. One of the five theives as they're known in the Rosedale area. Expensive but generally good quality. Knowing many of the staff personally I enjoy their company as well as candor. They provide food to Porter and they are quite open about how they ship food items that are usually 3 days or less with regards to the expirey date. The choice of them as the major supplier is based on the fact that Deluce had them cater a personal home party and he was impressed no doubt. However, paying $8 for a poor quality sandwich barely makes up for all the good things that relate to a superior flying experience goes right out the window. I think whoever is in charge of food purchasing should be better qualified. The fact that even the staff at "To Go" joke that the food is not even delivered in a "reefer truck", ie a refridgeration truck, makes the 3 day expiration drop to same day expiration.

There is no doubt the Deluce family knows how to fly. The fact that the entire family are highly qualified pilots in their own right makes for a great storey, but flying airplanes is only one part of running an airline. Personally, there have to be changes made with the choice of food vendors and or those who continue to support the status quo. Their business model seems solid but I have to question the choice of staff who can't execute. This is probably the reason there is a lineup for the resttroom since those who have a preflight meal suffer the same symptoms as someone eating a 3 day old Big Mac that was left outside during a heat wave.

Hope this can be changed before someone either has to vomit or defecat or both while waiting to get a seat in the washroom.

As I wandered into the staff longe I could not see a more depressing sight. No one was in there other than the cashier (who be the way doesn't accept cash, only debit and credit). As it turns out, being paid minimum wage, they either have to sacrifice a full hours wage to eat a sandwich or cut off their right arm to pay for what the staff at "To Go" says is not the best they make.

If you want to enhance the Porter flying experience, I suggest you start as soon as customers enter the airport. Getting ripped off before you even get on the plane makes the entire flight taste like the sandwiches you sell.

Hope I can see some much needed improvement by the next time I fly Porter. I would imagine that my flight on the16th might be a little optomistic, but I should expect by the 24th when my next flight is possible, there will have been changes.

I was very excited to see this post. My wife and I also purchased several paintings from Giamberti, and we're eager to get our hands on a few more. Did you ever find him? Do you know how to contact him? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Mr Belding,
I am happy you came to the Ottawa Home & Garden Show and found it interesting. We always strive for diversity among our exhibitors and quality new products. As you mentionned some of the exhibitors are lacking experience in sales and we are providing them with tools and information sessions to help them in this learning process. Sometimes the smaller size of the company prevents them from having the great training that you would find in a complete sales training but we hope that our quick training sessions will help them improve those skills in the future.
Thank you for your input!
hoping to see you again next year as i am sure you will still have work to be finalized on your new home. ;o)

I'm the general manager for Top Hat Home Comfort Services; I was at the show and in our booth for the entire weekend and your claim of "F-bombs" is completely ridiculous.

Our booth was populated by myself, the owner, multiple manufacturer reps for the brands we were showing, and our professional sales staff who were all steadily dealing with customers throughout the entire event, there simply was no time or opportunity for anything like what you describe to have occurred and go unnoticed by myself or the owner.

Your claims are entirely unfounded and slanderous.

The worse customer service ever, 2.5 years in the making, long but good I just got to share:
I received quite remarkably poor customer service (possibly the first recorded case of Company Rage?) from a company that installs floors coverings. I was out of town on business when they finished the job. I got a call “We have finished the job, please pay us”. I told them I was returning home that weekend, would they mind if I waited until I could inspect the job first. As long there were no problems, they would have their money. The company told me “The money is due on completion, pay us now”. I thought surely you can wait for a few days. How wrong I was!
Over the next few days I got several rude phone calls from the company. The tone of these call just got worse and worse. Finally at the weekend I inspected the job. While the work was ok, they left trash on the deck. But overall, not too bad. However the company owner was very rude, I thought let’s just paid the company in full and never deal with the company again. Thinking that would be the last of it. I was so very wrong!
Fast forward 2 years, while joining Angieslist for another reason, I decided to see if that company was still in business. I was amazed to find it was. Furthermore it had some reasonable good reviews. I decided to leave a review, maybe my experience was exceptional. However I am still entitled to share my experience. Review done, a bit of closure. I was so very very wrong 
Yesterday, about 6 months after leaving the review, I got a call on cell phone. I was unable to take it, so it went to voice mail. Thinking it was a number of a realtor I was dealing with, I returned the call without checking the voice mail. My phone call was answered with a series of expletives; so much so I believed was some kind of joke line. After 20 seconds or so, the person seemed to slow down a bit. I had no idea who this was. Eventually he told me, he was from T M Floors. I didn’t even remember the company name, it took a few seconds before I remembered the whole story. He said had left a voice mail, I would not like. Something about hiring lawyers, Angieslist and myself were going to pay. He proceeded to tell me, he knew my address. At this point it was just creepy. I said “Are you threatening me?”, “I would find out” was his answer. Click he hangs up.
I was just stunned, after a few minutes, I checked my voice mail. The following is an exact transcript, I will happily supply the recording to anyone:
“Hi Anthony, this is Ted Padgett, from T & M Floors. I don’t understand why you are such a coward, that you got to call Angieslist and blog a bunch of bullshit, arh, just because you didn’t want to pay your dam bill. Now if you read your contract, it said pay balance apon completion. So if you had not decided to leave the country or go where every the hell it is your faggot ass goes and paid your freaking bill then you would not have that problem. So it is really cute you hide behind your Ascord * and call it Anthony Ford and this and that and the other. But we know where you live at. So you can blog all the bullshit about us all you want. But you know it is a bunch of bullcrap that you are such a coward that you have to use someone else’s name * And again had you paid your bill, you would not have a problem with people calling you, like I am calling you now. Its because you do thing cowardly and you got to go to some little list and blog some stuff about us. But like I said you know where you live, bro.”
*[he thinks that is my name not the name of my company]

Well I am absolutely shocked, again I am away on business, with my wife and 3 year old at home. I call the police in Ormond Beach, apparently I need to talk to police in the jurisdiction where I received the call. I make a report, get a case number, now I can phone the Ormond Beach Police. They react well, visit my house and call Mr Padgett. Hopefully everything is now clam.
I believe T M Floors has asked to be removed from category listing in AngiesList. However you see the review by searching for T M Floors in Ormond beach.
This is really amazing bit, my original review was not completely bad, but I did mention threatening phone calls. Therefore because he was annoyed about mentioned threatening phones call, Mr Padgett makes threatening phone calls. I include it here:
“They did an ok job, but took far too long. They did not clean up, leaving trash on my deck. When they "finished", I was out of town on business and stated I wanted to inspect the job, in 2 days time, on my return. They did not want to wait for my inspection and demanded the payment. I got several threaten calls over the next 2 days. I explained they only had to wait 2 day, the owner thought that was unacceptable. They were unprofessional and completely unpleasant to work with. They even tried to charge the credit card I used for the deposit without my permission.”
